With all the differances that were posted earlier I checked dds Kit again since it was mentioned that Lindsey had the same body. Our Kit has "Gril" just like our Lindsey! Both are from AG, older dd bought Lindsey with her First Communion money so that was spring of 2001, younger dd got Kit 2001 or 02 for a birthday, we just can't remember if BB came first or Kit.

I've heard about the "Gril" tag here but not Kit having the same tag. Our Kit and Lindsey have identical skin tone, you could easily swap bodies.

Anyone else have a Kit Gril? That may help date a few also. Was that Gril tag on all Lindsey's, I'm really curious about this now.
Can anyone give me a speculation on this.
Thanks, Mary D

That is fine, she is not a fake. In 2001 AG made the misprint for GRIL, some Kits have it, Lindseys and also Kayas .

I have a friend who has a "Gril" Kit.. trust me, if you had a clone doll in your hands, you would certainly know it.. they are quite obvious when side by side to an authentic doll. It doesnt take an educated eye or a seasoned collector to eye one. You would know.. the differences are HUGE and very VERY noticeable.

Thanks everyone for your help on this. I know our Kit and Lindsey were both purchased from AG, I was just never aware of the Gril tag on Kit.

I mentioned the Gril tag as that might help date someone elses Kit as an earlier doll, but then maybe not. Now am I understanding correctly that the Gril tag was not on all Lindsey's but maybe just a certain batch of bodies?

Although we've been AG fans for so long I glean so much from you all. And this is just seems to be another AG curiosity. Thanks again.
